How long have you been a childcare provider and why did you start?
I have been a childcare provider since high school, over 20 years! I started to volunteer at our church nursery room and instantly fell in love with caring for and playing with all the different children.
What is your favorite thing about babysitting?
I love to help develop their little minds. At their young age, they soak knowledge like little sponges, so it’s very rewarding to see their growth and watch them blossom.
What advice do you have for a Bambino sitter?
Reach out to the Parents beforehand, open the lines of communication, and always respect their home.
Why do you think working in child care is so beneficial?
As cheesy as this may sound it does indeed take a village! Nannies and babysitters are very beneficial tools to help bring harmony to a home.
What do you think is most unique about Bambino?
A unique quality of the Bambino app is the simplicity of finding a sitter in your area at any given time. Especially for those last-minute circumstances.
What do you do outside of childcare?
I am currently also involved with a non-profit organization that helps feed families in need of extra help.
If you could watch one kids’ movie for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I’ve watched “Coco” more times than any child I’ve ever met in my life!
