CHILDCARE OPTIONS FOR CENTRAL TEXAS PARENTS DURING PANDEMIC
Some families are turning to childcare apps for connections with babysitters nearby.
Elizabeth Aronson works as director of customer experience for the Bambino app.
Aronson says right now there are more than 2,000 babysitters in the greater Austin area available for work. The app connects neighbors with nearby sitters for prices ranging from $10/hr to $20+/hr.
Through the month of March, Aronson says all cancellation and booking fees are waived.
