How long have you been a childcare provider and why did you start?
I’ve been babysitting for over 10 years. I started working as a “Mother’s Helper” when I was 13 and I would help moms in my neighborhood growing up. From there, I continued to babysit throughout the years because I love working with children!
What is your favorite thing about babysitting?
My favorite part about babysitting is meeting all the incredible families. It’s special when you meet the right family and get to watch the kids grow up over time. Bonding with the families allows the parents to feel comfortable leaving you with their kids when they are out!
What advice do you have for a Bambino sitter?
My advice for a Bambino sitter is to be on time, clean up after meals, and try to limit cancellations. The parents appreciate a clean kitchen when they come home!

What do you do outside of childcare?
I work full-time as a Cardiothoracic surgery PA in Charlotte, NC. My days are spent working at the hospital and assisting surgeons in the operating room during open heart surgery. Some hobbies I have are running and hiking!
If you could watch one kids’ movie for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I love the Toy Story Series! It’s special because I watched those movies growing up myself.
